Final Fantasy X Theme Completed

According to a recent entry in Nobuo Uematsu's digital diary at PlayOnline, the theme song for the upcoming Final Fantasy X has been completed. Square's renowned composer worked alongside Kazushige Nojima, who wrote the lyrics for the song. Previously, Kazushige wrote some of the lyrical selections for Final Fantasy VIII, including the incredible Liberi Fatali. Square has not yet announced who will perform the song.

Uematsu, who has composed the score for every Final Fantasy game, comments that the lyrics are wonderful, and personally thanks Kazushige. His entire online diary is available, and is certainly worth checking out if you can read Japanese. Final Fantasy X will be the first of the series to appear on the PlayStation2, and is currently aimed for a release in Japan next March.
