Bandai continues their RPG support with yet another game for the WonderSwan Color, this one based on the classic PC Dungeons & Dragons-style style RPG of the same name. Though the graphics are nothing special compared to the other RPGs announced for the WonderSwan Color, the game is upgraded from the original with an automap, an item collection list, and a monster list. Downloading features with the WonderGate is also supported.

Wizardry: Trial of the Riot Emperor should be released in Japan in March 2001, but a North American release is currently not planned. Though the old-school feel of the game might turn off newer RPG fans, Wizardry: Trial of the Riot Emperor should be able to satisfy those looking for a bit of nostalgia.
