Square is continuing their support of the WonderSwan portable system with their recent announcement of a WonderSwan Color port of their successful Super Famicom game, Front Mission. Few details on pricing and availability are known at this time, but a North American release seems unlikely until a domestic release of the WonderSwan Color is announced. However, this is good news for importers who missed this game the first time around.

Only the latest game in the Front Mission series, Front Mission 3, has made it to American shores. The series can be classified as Strategy Role-Playing, set in a futuristic world where the player battles using mechs called "Wanzers."
