During a recent online simulcast announcement, Sega announced that Sakura Taisen 3 for Dreamcast has been postponed until spring 2001 in Japan. With a hefty 3 GD-ROM game size, Sakura Taisen 3 can be expected to clock in as a heavyweight when it finally arrives.

Sega displayed an abundance of gameplay footage from the development version to help assuage gamers any gamers upset by the announcement, but with Sakura Taisen 2 not even released yet, the delay announcement for the third title in the series hardly comes as a major shock.
