New information about combat in Activision's forthcoming Playstation RPG, Guardian's Crusade (ED: Previously titled Guardian Legends) has been unveiled in a press release from Activision. Along with using the monster the hero is protecting in combat, the player can also make use of more than 70 living toys.

    These toys can be used to attack the opponent or heal players. The two examples given in the press release are a Freud Doll that can be used to hypnotize enemies to sleep, and a Voodoo Doll that can be used to eliminate an enemy's body parts, one at a time.

    Guardian's Crusade is scheduled for a March 1999 release.
