Fresh off the game's appearance at the Tokyo Game Show, Koei Tecmo announced that Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings will be released in North America and Europe. The game will be released in the regions for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam) in early 2018. It appears that the PlayStation Vita version, due out in Japan along with PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch versions this winter, will not be released in the west.

Atelier Lydie & Suelle is third game in the Mysterious sub-series, following Atelier Sophie and Atelier Firis, and stars twin sisters Lydie and Suelle Marlen. The pair run a small atelier in the capital of the Adlett Kingdom and discover a painting with a mysterious other world within it that the two can explore.
