With the release a little over a month away, Ubisoft has unveiled a new trailer for Assassin's Creed Origins. The video, viewable below, introduces the Order of the Ancients, a mysterious organization that controls Egypt from the shadows. Even the Pharaoh is not beyond its scope of influence. The trailer also shows off some in-game footage of Egypt during the late stages of the Ptolemaic dynasty.

Assassin's Creed Origins is an action RPG developed by the team behind Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. Set before the other games in the series, Assassin's Creed Origins tells the origin story of the creation of the Assassin Brotherhood. It's also billed as having deep RPG progression mechanics allowing the player to use their preferred abilities and skills against enemies. Assassin's Creed Origins is set to be released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One worldwide on October 27, 2017.
