NIS America has released a demo for its upcoming release of Nihon Falcom's Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana. The demo is available for PlayStation 4, with the full game set to be released for PC (via Steam), PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita in North America on September 12, 2017, and in Europe on September 15, 2017.

In addition to the demo, NIS America also released a new trailer detailing some of the extra content available in the PlayStation 4 and PC versions of the game. The latest title in Nihon Falcom's long-running series, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, Ys VIII follows Adol (and Dogi) after they become shipwrecked on the Isle of the Seiren.
