At the GameStop Expo in Las Vegas, Nintendo confirmed that Fire Emblem Warriors will be released in North America on October 20, 2017, the same day as was recently announced for the European release. The company also announced that a limited edition would be coming to North America. The edition will contain the Nintendo Switch game, three soundtrack CDs, 5-by-7-inch character art cards, and a dual-sided poster.

Fire Emblem Warriors is the latest crossover title between Omega Force's Dynasty Warriors gameplay and a Nintendo series. The game will be released for Nintendo Switch and New Nintendo 3DS.
