Paradox Interactive announced the release date for the frist expansion to Obsidian Entertainment's Tyranny. Bastard's Wound will be released digitally worldwide on September 7, 2017, priced at $14.99. The expansion adds a new region to the game along with various new quests and characters. It also adds in three more companion quests involving the main game's Lantry, Verse, and Barik.

Tyranny put players in control of a Fatebinder, a person of influence and power sent to the land of Tiers to consolidate the Overlord Kyros' power. The game was released for PC, Mac, and Linux in 2016, with those interested in reading more able to check out Scott Wachter's review.
