Grinding Gear Games' latest expansion to its free-to-play action RPG Path of Exile releases today at 2pm PST on Xbox One. The Fall of Oriath, which was released for PC earlier this month, adds a new fifth story act, as well as revamping the previous difficulty-level based progression system of Path of Exile. Rather than requiring players to replay the acts at higher difficulty, the expansion adds another five more acts (bringing the total to ten), as players return to previous areas that have been altered considerably since the players first went through them.
Path of Exile was originally released in 2013 for PC, with the Xbox One version released earlier this month. The game also released this week in China in partnership with Tencent. All of the content, including expansions, is available for free, with players able to spend money to purchase cosmetic items.
