Koei Tecmo put out some more details and media for its upcoming release of Gust's Blue Reflection. In addition to a new story trailer, viewable below, the publisher revealed information and some screenshots focusing on the game's relationship systems.

Forming relationships is key for student-turned-magical-girl Hinako. The closer she gets to her classmates, the more powerful her bond with them becomes and this provides bonuses when she fights the otherworld's Sephira. Friendships are grown through bond episodes that take place at school after classes or date events that take place elsewhere in town. Socialising with classmates unlocks new missions that can either advance the story, grow Hinako's bonds with others, or provide exploration options. In addition, players can spend their time in Hinako's home — learning more about her past — and browse the FreeSpace! social networking app.

Blue Reflection sees main protagonist Hinako fighting as a Reflector after being told that doing so will allow the injured foot that curtailed her dancing aspirations to heal. The game will be released for PlayStation 4 in North America and for PC (via Steam) worldwide on September 26, 2017, with the European PlayStation 4 release set for September 29, 2017.
