Dragon Quest XI is releasing for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo 3DS in Japan tomorrow, July 29, 2017, as coinciding with its imminent Japanese launch, Square Enix announced that the game will be coming to North America and Europe. The announcement was made through a video message from series creator Yuji Horii, which can be viewed below.

The game will be officially titled Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age in North America and Europe. Platforms and an exact release date, outside of 2018, were not confirmed. The game is also planned for release on Nintendo Switch in Japan, but no date has been announced.
