Powerchord Studio and Brownies Inc. today announced a western release for Egglia: Legend of the Redcap. A mobile RPG for iOS and Android, the game is created by the studio founded by Mana series designers and Brownie Brown (now 1-UP Studio) founders Kameoka Shinichi and Kouji Tsuda. Already available in Japan, the game will be released in English for many countries around the world in August.
Players control an elf named Chabo, who has fallen from the sky and landed on the continent of Egglia. New areas of the world are sealed within eggs and players are tasked with developing the world by constructing houses, summoning spirits, warding off monsters, and forming alliances. Two videos for the game have been released; the first is an English-language trailer, while the second is a video message from the developers.
