A free demo has been released for Dragon Quest Builders, the Minecraft-inspired Dragon Quest spin-off from Square Enix. The demo is available to download for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in North America and Europe, and includes the introductory chapter of the game. Accompanying the demo's release is a new trailer titled "Become a Legendary Builder", which can be viewed below.

Dragon Quest Builders is set in Alefgard, the world of the first Dragon Quest game, after it was destroyed by the evil Dragonlord. The game will release in North America on October 11, 2016, and in Europe on October 14, 2016. The PlayStation Vita handheld edition will only be available digitally, while the PlayStation 4 is receiving both digital and physical copies.
