Kadokawa Games announced that its upcoming tactical RPG, God Wars: Beyond Time, will receive a demo in Japan on September 5, 2016. The demo will be available for PlayStation 4, and its announcement comes with a new trailer for the game introducing its story. English subtitles are available on the video, which is viewable below.

God Wars is heavily based on feudal Japan and Shinto mythology, involving three nations that were rival regions in the early days of the empire. The game is planned for release for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, with a scheduled presence at Tokyo Game Show in September, at the end of which its Japanese release date will be announced. It has been announced for a worldwide release, though there is no confirmed release date for North America or Europe.
