Bandai Namco's God Eater 2: Rage Burst is now today for PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita in North America and Europe. Its release comes at the same time as the global PC version, plus the European PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita releases, for God Eater Resurrection. Those who purchase God Eater 2: Rage Burst for PC, or PlayStation 4 or PlayStation Vita in Europe, will receive a copy of God Eater Resurrection for free.

God Eater 2: Rage Burst is an enhanced remake of the Japan-only release of God Eater 2, while God Eater Resurrection is the second remake (after the PlayStation Portable's Gods Eater Burst) of its predecessor. The series is set in a future Earth where beings called Aragami lay waste to human civilisation. Players create their own God Eater character and go on missions with up to three allies to eliminate the Aragami threat using a large weapon called a God Arc, which can freely switch between gun, blade, and shield forms.
