Ghostlight announced that its PC port of Compile Heart's strategy RPG Mugen Souls Z will be released on Steam on August 25, 2016. The game follows its predecessor, Mugen Souls, onto the service, where it was released in October 2015.

Mugen Souls Z was originally released for PlayStation 3 in North America and Europe by NIS America. The game sees players control Chou-Chou and her allies as they attempt to conquer the twelve worlds. The PC version of the game will feature keyboard and mouse support, gamepad support, and Steam achievements, plus user interface and graphical enhancements.
