inXile Entertainment, along with newly-revealed publisher Techland, have announced that Torment: Tides of Numenera will arrive on consoles. The Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 will get the game alongside the PC version in early 2017. This announcement isn't without precedence, as inXile previously released its Kickstarted Wasteland 2 on consoles some time after its PC release. Along with the announcement came a new trailer for the game, which shows off numerous aspects of the encounters, setting, and story.

Tides of Numenera is a spiritual successor to Planescape: Torment that takes place in Monte Cook's Numenera setting. The game was successfully Kickstarted back in 2013 and is currently in Early Access on Steam for $44.99/£30.98/€44.99.
