Square Enix announced that it has set a release date for Mobius Final Fantasy, its upcoming mobile title. The game will arrive on iOS and Android devices on August 3, 2016. Pre-registration is available here, which will unlock Final Fantasy X-themed items, including Tidus' Brotherhood sword and a Yuna character card, along with other in-game rewards.

Mobius Final Fantasy follows the story of Wol, who awakens in the world of Palamecia with no memory of his past. He is quickly chosen to help save the dying world from chaos while deciphering a prophecy that speaks of a warrior of light. The game will feature a full HD world, numerous jobs, and live events that players can participate in. As with most of Square Enix's original mobile titles, the game will be free-to-play with in-app purchases.
