Idea Factory International has announced Megadimension Neptunia V II will release in North America and Europe in early 2016 on Playstation 4 and will be available both at retail and digitally. This Neptunia game is said to feature three different worlds and three stories, along with new characters, a new transformation mode, extra battle features, and a new dungeon mini game.

Gamindustri is on the verge of a societal collapse that threatens to overthrow and replace the CPUs. In this time of great upheaval, Neptune and NepGear are whisked away to another world, called Zero Dimension, that is facing a catastrophic end. While there, they encounter the world's last CPU, Uzume Tennouboshi, who is combating an evil force known as the Dark CPU.
