The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes will be released on October 23, 2015 in both North America and Europe, Nintendo announced today. The game, a spiritual successor to The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures, will be available on Nintendo 3DS.

Tri Force Heroes allows three players to team up locally or online, each controlling their own Link, and work together through dungeons. The game also includes single-player, giving control of the other two Links to the AI, although players can switch which Link they are controlling on the fly. Tri Force Heroes also features a single health bar shared across all three Links as well as a costume system that grants the Links different abilities.
