More details have surfaced regarding GungHo Entertainment America's PC rerelease of Grandia II. It is now confirmed that a DRM-free version of Grandia II HD Edition will be available at some point in 2015 via GOG.com. Along with this announcement, some screenshots of the HD Edition have been released, which can be seen below.
Grandia II was orginally released for Sega Dreamcast in 2000 before being proted to PlayStation 2 and PC in 2002 and has the honour of emerging victorious from RPGamer's Battle System Royale contest in 2014. In addition to the visual upgrade, Grandia II HD Edition will include Japanese voiceovers and controller support, as well as new harder difficulty setting.
