Bandai Namco Europe's appearance at this week's Japan Expo in Paris, France brought news regarding two Tales games. First is the reveal of Tales of Zestiria's Collector's Edition, plus its preorder and launch bonuses, while the second is the announcement of a PC release via Steam for the Chronicles version of Tales of Symphonia. There is no mention of a PC release for its sequel, Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World.

Tales of Zestiria's Collector's Edition will be available for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 and comes with the following contents:

• Four Chibi Kyun Chara figures
• Lady of the Lake sanctuary cloth artwork
• Hardback artbook
• Thirty-minute anime DVD
• Selected soundtrack CD from the game
• Exclusive Normin metal case
• Collector's Edition box and copy of the game

Pricing for the Collector's Edition has not yet been announced. Those who preorder either the Collector's Edition or standard edition for PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4 will also receive an exclusive piece of DLC that grants a Mystic Arte to characters Mikleo, Lailah, and Alisha, while those who get the game at launch can pick up the Alisha's Story DLC for free for a limited time. Participating retail and digital stores will also offer a weapon skin DLC pack as well as a set of eight DLC costumes based on previous Tales characters. In addition, some retailer-exclusive bonuses for particular countries come in the form of a set of four 35mm-diameter badges.

A preorder campaign is also available for the digital PC release of Tales of Zestiria. The actual bonus depends on the number of preorders. The first pack, which is guaranteed regardless of preorder numbers, features the set of weapon skins mentioned above. The second pack is four of the aforementioned costumes from previous titles, with the third being the remaining four. The final unlock sees all those who preorder Tales of Zestiria receiving the Steam release of Tales of Symphonia.

Tales of Zestiria is due to be released for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in Europe on October 16, 2015, while the global PC and North American PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions will be released on October 20, 2015. The PC version of Tales of Symphonia HD is set for release some time in 2016.
