Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will have an open beta testing period for the PlayStation 4 version early next year. In addition, players who own the PS3 version of A Realm Reborn will be able to get the PS4 version at no additional cost.

The open beta period will begin on February 22, 2014. Keep an eye peeled on the official Realm Reborn website here for news of the application process.
