Gust has announced that it will be giving the first game in the Arland trilogy an overhaul. Titled New Atelier Rorona: The Story Begins, this remake will feature a ton of improvements, as well as appear on both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

Some enhancements to the game include updated visuals, inheriting Atelier Meruru Plus' battle system, extra battles, events, maps, bosses, new models, an 'Extra Time' feature that can only be accessed once the game has been completed. There will also be bonuses for those who have Totori and Meruru save files as well. New Atelier Rorona goes on sale this Novemeber in Japan, but no word as to whether the game will see North American release.
