In the wake of the news that BioWare founders Doctors Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk are moving on from the company to pursue non-gaming interests, the company has been releasing information about its future plans. In a blog post yesterday, General Manager Aaryn Flynn paid tribute to the Doctors and discussed the company's plans beyond the recently-announced Dragon Age III: Inquisition.
On the Mass Effect front, more multiplayer content and single-player story offerings will be released for Mass Effect 3 over the next six months. Casey Hudson and his team also have plans for a new full game taking place in the setting, and BioWare is looking for fan input on the subject.
BioWare is also making plans for a new game set in a "fictional universe" using "all new gaming technology." This game is almost certain to be a new RPG, and appears to be aimed at the next generation of consoles. We may not hear more about either of these new games for some time, but we have at least a basic idea of where the company is going next.
