Last year's zombie-shooter-RPG, Dead Island, is now receiving an official follow-up game titled Dead Island: Riptide. This time, the game's four protagonists have been shipwrecked in a deadly archipelago full of, yes, zombies. A dynamic weather system will add new survival elements into the mix, and a fifth party member will join the crew - complete with a an all-new skillset.

Dead Island: Riptide continues to support co-op play, with new hub defense missions that involve placing traps and turrets in order to defeat invading waves of zombies. The game is scheduled to come out in 2013 for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
