NIS America

RPGamer was able to sit down with Ryan Phillips of NIS America. We will be posting a video interview soon, but in the meantime we wanted to share news about the status of a few of their titles. First, Black Rock Shooter: The Game for PSP is still on track for a digital release. As was stated by the CEO of Imageepoch, NIS America confirms that the game is still 100% in progress for a North American localization. The company is still working on the logistics of how a limited edition could work, but cannot confirm if it will actually happen. No other news is available on any other Imageepoch titles at this time.

Second, The Witch and the Hundred Knights, the PlayStation 3 action RPG, is still in the works, though there is nothing to show of the game at this time. The company is hopeful that we will hear something about it at TGS and then be able to share that with the North American fans.

Finally, though it is still uncertain how things will turn out, it does look as if North America will be seeing Atelier Ayesha on the PS3. The issue is that Tecmo Koei now owns the game's developer, Gust, so while NIS America is still hoping to localize the title, the company is working out the details on who will publish it.

There is a lot more coming from NIS America in 2013, especially for fans of Nippon Ichi games. The company says that it is looking to be a much more active year than 2012, so we shall see how things go.
