Though it was confirmed for North America months ago, RPGamer now has an official release date for The Last Story. Launching on Aug. 14, 2012, this will be the second English release for Mistwalker's Wii RPG, which already hit European shores in February.

It has been confirmed that all launch copies of the game will come in a limited edition, with custom packaging and a softcover art book. Those who pre-order from Amazon or Gamestop will also release a bonus, 7-track soundtrack CD.
