Considering that Konami disbanded its Suikoden team earlier this year, the recent announcement of a new game in the series was a surprise. Best translated as Suikoden: Centennial Tapestry, this new game will be for the PSP. It will continue the trend of Suikoden Tierkries and will be set in the infininte parallel worlds rather than in the world of the numbered Suikoden games.

Beyond the first trailer for the game and the creation of a Japanese Twitter account in order to advertise it, there has been little information from Konami on the title. Its chances of release in North America may be reduced by the fact that it's a PSP title, but stranger things have happened.
