It has been an open question whether Ni No Kuni, the RPG created from the collaboration between Level-5 and Studio Ghibli, will ever get a western release, but that question has finally been answered. Ni No Kuni: Queen of the White Ashes, the PlayStation 3 version of the game, will be brought to North America in early 2012. In the meantime, it will be released in Japan on November 17.

While the PS3 version of Ni No Kuni is getting a Western release, there was no matching announcement for the DS version, which was released in Japan last year. It is looking increasingly unlikely that Ni No Kuni for the DS and the Magic Master book that accompanies it will ever be localized.
