Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions is now available worldwide for iOS devices. As the title suggests, the release is based on the 2007 PSP remake, which has a brand new translation, new cutscenes, scenarios and jobs. The iOS version will have touch-panel controls and the ability to rotate and change the size of maps by sliding and pinching. Load times and visuals have also been improved.

Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions for iPhone and iPod Touch costs $15.99 on the App Store. There will be an iPad version available for download later this month.
