Some minor adjustments are being made to the English release of Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten. The Map Editor mode, used to create player-made maps, is seeing restriction due to region problems.
According to NIS America, the Map Editor mode is seeing a minor adjustment in its design. Players will not be able to create as detailed maps as they can in its Japanese counterpart. Instead of individual blocks, players will have many pre-set landforms to choose from. Multiples of the same object cannot be placed on top or side-by-side, and map names will be entirely randomized. Despite these minor adjustments, North America and European gamers will still be able to share their maps online.
With this announcement, NIS America has also released a small batch of localized screens. Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten is set to release on September 6, 2011 in North America and Fall 2011 in Europe.
