Carpe Fulgur has announced that they will be localizing a niche Japanese PC RPG titled Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale. The story stars Recette, a young entrepreneur struggling to make ends meet when her father runs off to become a great hero, leaving her with a massive debt to repay.

The game sports both a dungeon crawler aspect and tons of item collection to help Recette's store. Players need to collect items to help Recette's store flourish, and this can be done either through exploring dungeons, playing the market in the city of Pensee, or buying and trading items with town locals.

At this time no release date has been announced. A demo of the game can be downloaded from the official website, along with tons of other information pertaining to the game. Check back with RPGamer for more information soon.
