Atlus USA has announced that they will be extending online support for their PlayStation 3 exclusive Demon's Souls. Online support is stated to last at least through March 2011. Atlus USA states that they wish to maintain their promise to the Demon's Souls online community to support old and new players with a full online experience.

To celebrate this announcement, the game server's World Tendency will be shifted to Pure White for a couple of weeks, allowing for a slightly easier difficultly for newcomers to the game. For veterans of the game, this announcement will allow them to reach more easily reach areas and items that are inaccessible otherwise.
