Sega Japan has opened the official site for Valkyria Chronicles 2. The game is in development for the PlayStation Portable, after the original Valkyria Chronicles was exclusive to the PlayStation 3 console.

The sequel will continue to utilize the same watercolor painted graphics as the original, as well as the BLiTZ battle system. The game will also feature ad-hoc gameplay, but it is unknown what the online experience will entail.
