Japanese developer Vanillaware, creator of Princess Crown, Odin Sphere, and GrimGrimoire, has been working on the Nintendo Wii title Oboro Muramasa Youtouden since 2007. The latest issue of Nintendo Power has revealed that the game will be making its way to North America under the new title Muramasa: The Demon Blade. It will be co-published by XSEED Games and Marvelous Entertainment in 2009.
Muramasa has yet to be released in Japan, but will be featured at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show. Along with it will be a few other titles confirmed for North American release such as Rune Factory Frontier, Little King's Story, and Avalon Code. Arc Rise Fantasia will also be featured, though it has not been confirmed for North American localization yet.
RPGamer will be live at the Tokyo Game Show with hands-on impressions of these playable titles. Check back with us as the October show nears.
