Sega announced recently that it was developing a new strategy RPG for Sony's PlayStation 3, titled Valkyrie of the Battlefield: Gallian Chronicles. The company has also opened the official site for the title, featuring media and information regarding the upcoming title.

The site only lists two of the game's characters so far: Welkin Gunther and Alicia Melchiott. The game's world looks to be loosely based on Europe, and the story seems to take place in the 1930s. The game's battle system is labeled as Blitz, which stands for Battle of Live Tactical Zone systems.

Currently this title has not been announced for North America. Though this news did not come the Tokyo Game Show, the movies are, so make sure to stay tuned to RPGamer for more news straight from the show.
