Weekly Famitsu has reported that a sequel to the less than well-received Valhalla Knights is coming to the PSP. Valhalla Knights 2 expands on the original title while staying true to its predecessor.

The sequel promises more playable characters, weapons, armor and races. There will be outdoor environments added, which will boast over 60 quests. It will also contain local multiplayer options that have not yet been specified.

Valhalla Knights 2 is being developed by K2 and published by Marvelous Entertainment. It is expected to be released during Spring 2008 in Japan. For more information about the roots of Valhalla Knights check out our game page of the original title.
