Several weeks ago Breath of Fire II was released on the Virtual Console, but only in the UK. Jealousy raged inside North American fans of the series, but thanks to Nintendo of America that animosity can subside. Breath of Fire II is now available on the US Virtual Console.

Breath of Fire II is the story of a boy named Ryu and a rag-tag bunch of anthropomorphic buddies as they try to save his sister and the world from impending doom. Though the game was re-released with an updated version on the GBA, currently the original SNES title is the only one available for download. Breath of Fire II costs 800 Wii points and is rated E for everyone.
