Atari has revealed the list of games that the company will be showing at the upcoming Leipzig Games Convention, to be held in the Leipziger Messe in Germany from August 23 through 26. Included in that list are a couple role-playing games, including one that the company will be releasing in Europe for Namco Bandai Games.

Eternal Sonata for the Xbox 360 will be playable at the show and is scheduled for release in Europe this fall. The game is also scheduled for release in North America in September 2007 and was released in Japan on June 14.

The other title on display at the Atari booth will be The Witcher, from Polish developer CD Projekt. This title will be, for the first time, be playable by the public, allowing would-be players to step into the shoes of white-haired witcher, Geralt, a legendary monster hunter and master swordsman. On top of this, there will be a special area at the Atari booth labeled the Witcher Cinema, where visiters will be able to view the entire seven-minute CGI opening for the upcoming game. The Witcher is currently scheduled for September release in Europe, while North America will need to wait until October 30.
