While Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII missed another opportunity to be playable at the 2006 Tokyo Game Show, Japan's Impress Watch game site did report the projected Japanese release for Spring 2007. A U.S. release date has not been announced.

Crisis Core is the PSP installment of Square Enix's Compilation of Final Fantasy VII based on the popular RPG for the PlayStation. The game is an action-RPG and a prequel to Final Fantasy VII, featuring Zack, a young recruit of the elite SOLDIER military group for the Shrina Corporation.
