Trusty Bell

Namco Bandai today announced that the company will be localizing Trusty Bell: Chopin's Dream for the Xbox 360 for release in North America. The game will be receiving a name change as it crosses the Pacific, however, and gamers will be able to find it in stores under the name Eternal Sonata.

The game is developed by tri-Crescendo, which previously collaborated with Monolith Soft in creating Baten Kaitos and Baten Kaitos Origins. The game begins when a famous composer experiences vivid dreams of another world while on his deathbed. "With a host of impressive next generation features such as a unique monster morphing system, a hybrid of a turn-based and action battle system with a special attack feature dependent on light and shadow, Eternal Sonata will set a new standard for next-generation RPG gaming," stated Namco Bandai's Product Group Director Yoshi Niki.

Eternal Sonata will be released some time in 2007. Look for RPGamer to provide additional information as we get closer to the game's release.
