Recently, NIS America confirmed a shift in release dates in regard to Ar Tonelico, an RPG that was originally slated for shelves this October. The game is now set for February 2007, a change that was considered necessary to give the game better visibility. With Final Fantasy XII releasing in October, followed by the PS3 a mere two weeks later, the developer admits that consumer attention would be focused elsewhere.

Ar Tonelico is an RPG featuring a young hero named Laina Barselt who joins the army to seek adventure. He is joined by "Ravateel", heroines who use songs to attack enemies and power up their teammates. More information on Ar Tonelico will be available as we approach the new release date.
