Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance

In an interview with IGN, Alan Averill and Tim O'Leary, the North American localizers responsible for the upcoming Gamecube strategy RPG Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, discussed some new gameplay details on the title. The most significant revelation is the news that Path of Radiance will have GBA connectivity.

Averill and O'Leary confirmed that players will be able to connect both Fire Emblem and Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones to the Gamecube. Doing this will unlock artwork galleries featuring art from Path of Radiance, as well as the specific GBA game connected. Connecting the two previous titles will also open up special side quest maps as a bonus.

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is the ninth title in the long-running series, but only the third to come to North America. It will ship to retailers on October 17, 2005 with a suggested retail price of $49.99 and an ESRB rating of T for Teen.
