Although Famitsu's latest offering of Final Fantasy XII images and information was abundant, very little of the bounty was new. The pages of the magazine mostly summarized what was already known about the game and the Square Enix party at the end of July.

The only new piece of information was about the chain bonuses achieved in combat. If players kill the same kind of monster over and over, they will receive better items after battle. The magazine also confirmed the existence of "Green Magic," which consists of supportive spells that enhance the stats of characters.

Final Fantasy XII will be released in Japan on March 16, 2006. A North American release should follow.
