While it has been a widely-known fact for quite a while now, NIS has officially announced their intentions to create an anime based upon its popular strategy RPG, Disgaea: Hour of Darkness.

Not much is known about the projected title yet, such as whether it follows the course of the game, but a Japanese official website has been opened to the public.

The Disgaea anime has been slated for a vague 2006 release.
