Following the announcement of Final Fantasy XII's release date, another announcement related to the title was made at Square Enix's weekend extravaganza. This time, the company debuted the game's theme song, "Kiss Me Good-bye," which was composed by the famous Nobuo Uematsu and performed by a relatively unknown musician named Angela Aki.
"We finished mixing the theme song about one or two weeks ago. It's one of my favorites so far. I've been playing it over and over while driving in my car," Uematsu said. The composer also added that the lyrics are in English because the language was suited to the atmosphere of the game and it would appeal to the overseas market.
As previously reported, Final Fantasy XII will be released in Japan on March 16. A North American release date has not been announced.
