New details for the recently announced Grandia III character, Hect, have been uncovered. With less than two weeks until the title's release, new details for the game are unveiled almost daily.

Hect is the leader of a town called Terrarium, the only inhabitable place left in the alternate world where she lives. Her world was almost destroyed in something called the "Zone Curse," and she now resides in Yuuki's world. Hect has long since given up hope of saving her world; she now just wishes for its quick and peaceful destruction. She strives to sever the connection between her and Yuuki's world through her violin.

Also of note, Square Enix has opened a second promotional trailer on the official site. The trailer itself is listed under the Special section, is two and a half minutes long, and is available in high and low quality versions. Grandia III is currently set to see the light of day in Japan on August 4. There are no North American localization plans as of yet.
